2011 BGCS ANNUAL APPEAL RAISES OVER $81,000!

Thank You to all our generous supporters who helped us raise over $81,000 for our 2011 Annual Appeal! A special thank you to this year’s Annual Appeal Chair, Robert Hartt, Board of Directors Second Vice Chair, for his leadership and to all of our board members for surpassing the 2011 Annual Appeal goal by 60%! Congratulations to Gary Purpura, Board Treasurer, Ernst & Young, for leading the winning Appeal Team and raising the most funding for The Boys & Girls Club of Stamford’s annual fund drive.

This important year-end campaign is instrumental in providing support for our many youth development activities for the at risk children of our area. Our programming provides opportunities for our young people who need us most, helping them become contributing members of our community. Your generous gifts also provide operational support and staffing of our programs including Character and Leadership Development, Education and Career Development, Health and Life Skills, the Arts, Sports, Fitness and Recreation.
