The Boys & Girls Club of Stamford serves our community’s most historically underserved youth through accessible after-school programs and summer camps. By providing world-class programming, caring mentors, and a safe, positive environment, we open doors to opportunity—empowering Stamford’s youth to explore their passions, build new skills, and dream big.
Our Mission
The Mission of Boys & Girls Club of Stamford is to enable all youth to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. We strive to empower our youth and provide a safe and supportive environment with caring adult professionals and volunteers. We endeavor to achieve our mission by offering facilities, programs, and support systems that assist young people in their academic, social, athletic and cultural pursuits. Our formula for impact focuses on children’s academic success, good character, citizenship and healthy lifestyles.

Provide a world-class club experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who enters our doors, with all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, demonstrating good character and citizenship, and living a healthy lifestyle.
Our Work
Boys & Girls Club of Stamford’s focus is to offer programming in the core areas of Education Enrichment & Career Development, Athletics and Well-Being, Character & Leadership Development, and The Arts.
Our Impact
Every day, we provide opportunities, support, and a path forward for over 550 K-12 youth—97% youth of color, 96% are eligible for free or reduced lunch, and nearly 60% from single-parent households.
Our Staff
Our dedicated team includes 15 full-time professionals and nearly 90 part-time staff, all committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and inspiring environment for Stamford’s youth. Every day, our caring adults and mentors help 550+ children and teens build supportive relationships, develop new skills, and reach their full potential.
