Khloe Brown Shines as Connecticut’s (and Stamford’s) Junior Youth of the Year!

The Boys & Girls Club of Stamford is thrilled to announce that 8th-grader Khloe Brown has been named not only our 2025-2026 Junior Youth of the Year, but also the prestigious 2025 Connecticut State Jr. Youth of the Year!

Khloe, a student at Stamford Charter School for Excellence, has distinguished herself as an exceptional leader both in and out of the classroom. In addition to earning top grades, she serves as Student Body Vice President at SCSE, is an active member of Torch Club (a leadership development program at the Club), and participates in the Club’s youth engagement initiative, Stamford Youth Voice. Khloe is also a member of the Club’s Junior Staff Program, a new leadership and workforce readiness program.

The Junior Youth of the Year program aims to nurture leadership skills in students ages 10-13 across all national Boys & Girls Clubs. Khloe embodied the spirit of this initiative so remarkably that she was chosen as the 2025 Connecticut State Jr. Youth of the Year – an honor that is a true testament to her dedication, strong moral character, and passion for helping others.

At the Connecticut State Youth of the Year event hosted at the Wakeman Boys & Girls Club, Khloe eloquently described the profound impact the Club has had on her life and her commitment to giving back. In her own words, “The lessons I’ve learned here will stay with me forever. Through leadership opportunities, service projects, and hands-on experiences, I’ve grown in confidence, teamwork, and perseverance. The Boys & Girls Club has transformed my shyness into confidence and my uncertainty into purpose.”

Congratulations, Khloe! We are honored to have you represent the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford.
