November 10 was a magical night!
On November 10 over 200 guests joined us at the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford for our annual Champions of Youth dinner where we honor the unsung heroes who volunteer at our club and truly impact the lives of our youth.
During our Youth Expo, guests interacted with students through various projects including STEM robotics, 3D printing, painting a mural, listening and learning African drum beats, dance moves, playing the keyboard, and shooting free throws. It was an honor for our team to show off our members’ talents and give a glimpse into what we do at the Club.
During our program, our Youth of the Year, Jose, and the three other Youth of the Year candidates interviewed featured speaker Molly Qerim. We then honored our 2022 Champions of Youth, Nadene McKenzie-Reid, Yvonne Loubiere, and Mesha Deveaux.
