City Chic, The Boys and Girls Club of Stamford’s annual spring gala, was held Thursday, March 15, at The Stamford Sheraton. Karyn Ward, City Chic Chair, announced that a $160,000 net profit was raised for the programs of The Club with almost 300 people attending.

This year The Family of Mary C. & Frank D. Rich, Sr., was honored with the Guardian of the Community Award. Boardroom Inc. was presented the Corporate Partnership Award. Gala emcee was Bill Evans, WABC-TV, Senior Meteorologist. Christine Larsen, Chief Development Officer, The Boys and Girls Club of Stamford, said this year’s event attendance doubled last year’s. Presenting Sponsors of City Chic 2012 were The Ashforth Company and Purdue Pharma L.P. Over 32 Stamford area companies sponsored this year’s fundraiser.

This upscale chic cocktail party featured bountiful appetizers, a delicious buffet, signature cocktails, an impressive silent auction and entertainment by local jazz artist Kelly Mittleman.
